Adobe Lightroom

ZenTransfer connects to Adobe Lightroom via OAuth and imports every incoming file into your Lightroom cloud library. Useful for solo workflows that already live in Lightroom and want camera-to-catalog delivery with no laptop step.

What you need¶

• A ZenTransfer account
• An Adobe Creative Cloud account with Lightroom (any plan that includes Lightroom CC / Lightroom mobile)
• A camera or upload source

Setup¶

Step 1: Connect Adobe¶

1. Log in to your Dashboard
2. Under Cloud Drives, click Connect next to Adobe Lightroom
3. Authorise ZenTransfer with your Adobe account
4. Enable the Lightroom destination toggle

Step 2: Test¶

Upload a single file. It should appear in your Lightroom library within seconds — visible immediately in Lightroom mobile and Lightroom CC on desktop.

What gets imported¶

• JPEG previews and original files
• RAW files when supported by Lightroom's import endpoint
• IPTC metadata embedded by your active ZenTransfer template

Catalog organisation¶

Lightroom auto-organises imports by date. For album-based organisation, sort imported files into albums inside Lightroom — ZenTransfer does not create albums.

When this workflow shines¶

• Wedding: shoot all day, fill the Lightroom library by the cocktail hour, start culling on the couch
• Event: camera-to-Lightroom with no card pull
• Studio: tethered preview alternative with Adobe-native workflows

Storage considerations¶

Lightroom cloud storage is part of your Adobe plan. High-volume uploads can fill quota fast — pair Lightroom delivery with a long-term archive destination (S3, B2, GCS) so the Lightroom copy can be cleared once you've finished editing.

Disconnect¶

• Toggle off to pause delivery, OAuth stays intact
• Disconnect to remove the OAuth token
• Revoke in your Adobe account settings for full removal
