ZenTransfer forwards each incoming file to your Dropbox account through Dropbox's API. Files appear inside a ZenTransfer folder in your Dropbox.

What you need

  • A ZenTransfer account
  • A Dropbox account

Setup

Step 1: Connect Dropbox

  1. Log in to your Dashboard
  2. Under Cloud Drives, click Connect next to Dropbox
  3. Authorise ZenTransfer with your Dropbox account — ZenTransfer requests access to the ZenTransfer app folder only
  4. After authorisation, toggle the Dropbox destination to enabled

Step 2: Send a test file

Upload a single file via browser drag-drop, camera FTP, or the Desktop app. The file should appear in Apps/ZenTransfer/ within seconds.

Folder layout

Dropbox places ZenTransfer in an isolated app folder under Apps/ZenTransfer/. Files arrive flat — ZenTransfer does not create subfolders inside Dropbox.

Disconnect or revoke

  • Disable the destination toggle on your dashboard to stop future deliveries (connection stays intact)
  • Disconnect to remove the OAuth token from your account
  • Revoke from Dropbox.com → Settings → Connected apps to remove access entirely
